Holocaust Survivor at Loras College
LORAS -Out of the 15,000 children at Nazi concentration camp in Czechslovakia, only one percent survived. Dr. Inge Auerbacher was one of them.
She shared her story with the Loras Community during Common Time.
Inge says there is a reason she survived. She explained, "I feel a special mission to keep the memory alive of those murdered children. They must never be forgotten."
By teaching tolerance to students, Inge feels like she is making a difference.
"We have to learn from the past don't we? If we don't know what happened, how will we know the outcome for the future?" Auerbacher said.
