Well we made here at LCTV13, it took over 2 years and hundreds of hours of planning, filming, and interviewing, but we made it. Our 3 hour Decision 2008 special broadcast couldn't of went any better. Our anchors did a great job of analyzing the information and interviewing our political scientists, and our behind the scenes crew worked harder than I have see anyone work before, it was truly electric last night.

After Andrew and my planning for months to get this show off the ground it is kind of bittersweet to see it go, but it was really great to see our detailed plan take action with a crew of over 30 working so hard. I can't thank them enough.

I was in this election from the very beginning, interviewing Tom Vilsack the day after he announced his run, and I was here at the end, seeing Sarah Palin deliver one last speech in Dubuque before election day, and through all of that I have meet some amazing people from around the state and the globe, they truly made this the greatest election of our lifetime.

I put together a 4 minute piece that looks back at the election through the lens of LCTV's reporters and photographers, from Dubuque to Des Moines and in between our cameras captured every candidate as they made their way around our state.

I just want to say thank you again to all of the great people I have met along the way and to all of the crew at LCTV for making my dream a reality. Thank you.

Well I planned on posting my first real post this weekend but thanks to Loras and their slow internet I can not even load the youtube videos I wanted to share with you.
