Soccer, Football, Cross Country, Soccer, Volleyball, and Swimming have all been feature already this fall. Here's a shot from last week's season opening swim meet.

The Loras Men's soccer team returns to the NCAA tournament after going to the Final Four last season. They host the first two rounds of the tournament. Loras plays Greenville (IL) Friday at 5:00.

Steven's Point, Wisconsin is the site of the women's soccer first round game. They play St. Thomas at 1:30 on Saturday.

The surprise volleyball team made the NCAA DIII Tournament for the first time this week. They play Concordia-Moorhead in St. Paul, MN on Thursday at 6:00.

SZ caught up with the volleyball team after capturing the regular season IIAC title. We'll have highlights from the tournment this week.

Loras Volleyball: Duhawks take out Luther 3-1 in the IIAC semi-finals. They host Simpson Saturday at 2:00 for the conference title.

Loras Men's Soccer: The Purple and Gold beat up on UD 6-0 in the snow and look to repeat as conference champs by beating Wartburg Saturday.

Loras Women's Soccer: The women defeated Luther today 2-0, but face a tough Wartburg team in the IIAC Championship.

Loras can win 3 IIAC titles in one day!

No postseason for the football team, but they play Simpson in hopes of staying in the IIAC's top three. Can McGrew go for 200 yards for a third straight game??

Despite early hopes of making the national football tournament, it looks like the Duhawks are going to come up a little short this year. Thats no reason to be down if you're a Duhawk superfan, though.

The volleyball team and both soccer squads have all but clinched top tier spots in the IIAC tournament. The men's soccer team is currently ranked #13 in the nation and the volleyball team sits atop the IIAC for the first team in years. The women's soccer team sits in second, but will look to avenge an early season loss to first place Wartburg come tournament time.
