After an inspired run in the IIAC tournament a year ago, one had to sense Loras baseball was on the upswing heading into this season. Currently riding an eight game win streak, the Duhawks are living up to expectations, and are in the IIAC driver's seat heading into the final weekend of play.

With wins in Mt. Vernon on Saturday the Duhawks can capture their first conference title since 1952. One player leading the effort is senior Nick Olberding. The Beckman product is hitting .400 with 35 RBI.
